User identification with HP MFP-LaserJet's

Many companies use cards with electronic chips to identify the personnel in various areas like building automation, PC Login, canteen account and so on, which offer a maximum in usage comfort. Based on the new developed solution SecureJet-PX such existing cards with electronic chip are also useable for the identification at your HP LASERJET MFP. This brings a lot of new applications that ca be realized with MFP, here some examples:
Secure-Printing: your documents remains in the MFP until you identify yourself at the MFP, which then forces the document to be printed. This is meaningful with sensitive documents

Job Accounting: you can assign all MFP functions (pressure, copy, Scan, fax, Send To email) to a user. So you know which user used your infrastructure and for what. Not only your whole infrastructure fleet can be optimised based on the real usage, but also the associated cost could be charged to the different department.

Click-Billing: a certain amount of money can be loaded at disposal for every user's account from what per used MFP function a defined amount is deducted. As long as still "virtual money" is available, the MFP works fine. If the users “virtual money” is empty, the user has to reload his account again.
