FormReader

You can now easily recognize (both characters and forms) from all your paper-based documents after scanning them. FormReader, the well-known forms processing software, has now been integrated into award-winning AutoStore to combine the functionality of character recognition and forms recognition. Manually entering forms data or classifying your business documents should become a thing of the past.
Recent legislation is making the archiving of most documents (electronic and paper-based) mandatory. For example in Switzerland, invoices issued by your suppliers must be stored for a minimum of ten years. In order to retrieve these from archival, it is important to extract critical information, e.g. date, invoice amount, and certain customer & bank information. Usually such work is done by manual key entry and can take minutes for each form processed. Using FormReader in conjunction with AutoStore, this information is extracted automatically and handed over to other applications (database other applications like your ERP-System) as required for indexing or storage.
